| This is a WWI panoramic
regimental photo (188 soldiers, two cooks and some guy with a guitar). And, this is where we began with it. There
was lots of missing information and chunks of glass sticking to the
photo surface. This panoramic photo is 8" x 42" and had suffered
water damage and then had been dropped, shattering much of the glass.
The "bluish" areas you see are where the photo is stuck to the glass.
This client came to us with the knowledge that the photo had been
destroyed and gave us permission to do "anything" to supply him with a
reconstructed panoramic photo. More.....
|

| After we removed the glass the
panoramic looked like this. Much of the photographic information
was stuck to the pieces of glass we removed. More.....
|

| This is the full panoramic after
the pieces stuck to the glass were salvaged and inserted. More
below...
|

| The panoramic was converted to
black-and-white and restoration/reconstruction performed. The
client had wanted the final print in black-and-white...but...

|

| The client decided a sepia tone
would look best so that was added. And more.....
|

| Then, the panoramic was added to the "electronic paper" we created and the client was delighted beyond belief. |
